Simple back up of a SQL Azure database

Mike Mooney posted an excellent article and approach on how to do a simple back up of a SQL Azure database over on the Redgate affiliated simple-talk web site:

I’m quite a fan of the red gate tool set, especially their SQL Compare and SQL Data Compare products. We’re currently building a solution on Windows Azure with a SQL Azure database and redgate’s tools have provided the smoothest database deployment to date. Well worth a look if you’re over trying to do deploy to SQL Azure with the db tools in Visual Studio.

    Agree totally. Redgate has it together when it comes to supporting Azure. No one else seems to. Great link.
